In the town of Cavite, Philippines, people will do just about anything to survive. This is the harsh reality for many Filipinos living in a poverty stricken nation.

Adam, an American citizen visiting his home country for his father's funeral, soon realizes this when he arrives at the Philippines Airport and receives a phone call from an anonymous caller letting him know that his mother and sister have been kidnapped and will be killed if he doesn't comply with his demands. Helpless and alone in a country he barely knows he must submit himself to the fanatic's every wish or face the consequences.

Soon Adam realizes that the caller on the other end is with the country's most infamous bandits, the Abu Sayyaf, a Muslim terrorist group fighting the Philippine government for Muslims to own the southern part of the country. Known for their kidnap and ransom and beheading of their victims if demands aren't met, he is at the caller's mercy.

But when he finds out the caller's real motivation Adam finds himself in a dilemma to sacrifice the ones he loves or commit a horrendous act that will cost the lives of many.

my way of wakin up the next day and feeling better.. dammit i don't need to blame myself for being so nice..

july 8-10th .... 4 days of stress .. emotionally exhausted.. thought the world's gonna fall on me.. miscommunication.. am i demanding? ..crybaby.. lost 2 lbs in 2days.. what the hell??? .. not anorexic.. freaked out.. seeing more gray hairs.. 4 beers and 3 ketel one and tonics.. argh!!... good ass chicken quesadillas..

july 11 .... was up for 20 hrs.. more relaxed .. we're still together .. thank god.. hearing the evil laugh.. friends hangin out.. roberto's tortas ,hmmm good.. pineapple juice..watched clueless.. only had 5 hrs sleep..

july 12th.. woke up at 8 am.. had 2 cups of french vanilla coffee.. will shop for a dress for friend's wedding.. hyper..

oh wait.. just when u thought life's good and one phonecall changes everything..
mom's got into a car accident.. trauma center at UMC.. what the hell?? flashbacks from last March.. can't do this anymore.. waiting for 3 hours.. head spinning and mind's totally blank..

it's like tellin me something.. my so called problems from last weekend was NOTHING compared to what had happened.. josie has been selfish.. but as always my mom's soo lucky and her guardian angel was with her =) .. thank god for seatbelts..

life's always better when your Family is beside u all the time..

we should always be thankful for that..
